The rack's rating is not your car's roof limit. Always stay within the lowest of the rack, carrier and vehicle roof load limits. Don't overtighten the mounting screws.

Which roof rack do I need?
Pick Model Y 2020–2024 for the original body, or Model Y Juniper for the refreshed Model Y built from March 2025 on (the one with the light bar across the front).
How much weight can it hold?
The Model Y 2020–2024 rack is rated up to 150 lbs and the Juniper rack up to 220 lbs. Your car's roof limit may be lower, so always stay under the lowest limit.
Will it damage the glass roof?
No. Neither rack mounts on the glass. The Juniper rack bolts into hidden mounting points under the roof seal strip.
Can I lock it?
Yes. Both versions are lockable.
